I’m not a fan of entering caustions etc on Ref Six becasue I don’t want the possibility of ‘fumbling’ through trying to find what I need. However, a quick button-press, or long press on screen or swipe and select ‘bookmark’ (like we do for a goal) would give the opportunity to mark the time of a cuation, or substitution, or anything I so wish. This doesn’t need to be detailed, just a time bookmark so when you look back at stats it says I bookmarked at 22.20 and 47.32 etc… I will then work out that was caution #1 or sub#1 etc. Goals and any other timed events (e.g. if you do enter cautions on the watch) should reamain as they are - this is just for an extra (miscellaneous) bookmark that I can refer to after the game and use for whatever purpose I want.
I will usually record bookings in a notebook and add them in the app later, but this would work too. I love RefSix, but I don’t love the optics of fiddling on my watch while recording a card.
This is my point, i often forget to note the time of cuations in my notebook - so a quick swipe omn the watch is ideal. Also, a quick marker when subs happen etc … I wonder if even just pausing the watch could be marked with what time you did so (and for how long) - so if you automatically pause your watch for subs, cautions, etc, then you can use that marker as a reminder of the time.
