Share Match with Colleagues#27

Once I add a match to my app, I’d like to be able to share a match with my colleagues. Only need for one of us to upload teamsheets but share across the team.

This sounds like a social graph of “Colleagues”. These Colleagues should also be selectable in “new” AR1, AR2, VAR, AVAR, along with existing Referree (would rename this “Center Referee or Center”), Fourth Official, Time Keeper, and other official fields. When a Colleague is selected by another colleague, the match shows up for them in RefSix, e.g. so an AR (like 4th or AR2) could be assigned to setup the match for Center, AR1 and others and this would automatically populate their “Matches”.

Not needed for first version of this feature request, but something to think about during the design process….. The ability for the officials team to merge their match logs.

For example the 4th or AR1 is tracking substitutions so at the end of the game the post game log would show the subs recorded by AR1 (or 4th) on the centers and any other official’s match report. (So all officials would have the “same” match log report.)

Bonus points if differences between officials can be merged/reconciled like say, goals where the center recorded player #5, but AR1 recorded #11. Same for cards and other match events.

If you mean sync watches up to other officals who have a smart watch and ref six then YES !! I would love to see that feature would make the game so muvh easier with your assistants at half and full time when speaking about cards, goals etc.

I have to agree with “Refsix.com” here and brilliant thought. Even without automatic reconciliation if differences but with merger, if the match logs were presented essentially in 5 columns (one for each of AR1, 2, Center, 4th… .plus a 5th “Final” or “correct” column) with the ability to chose which of the first 4 columns was “authoratative” or “correct” for that “match event”, then the user could merge them. For example, if the 4th Official had match events in column 4 for substitutions, but AR1,2, and center had nothing matching those events in their columns, the user would put a check box on the rows in the 4th’s events column and, therefore, those events would show up in the “Final” or “Correct” 5th column. With regard to events where one official has player #5 and another has #11, the logic applies and a user choses to check one or the other to appear as “correct’ in a certain row in a column and that appears in the 5th column.

Once the user had chosen all events they want in the “Final” column, the “save” the match log and there is now a “final” log for the “match” as opposed to a match log for each “official”. Of course, the “final match log” should be able to be edited later also if there are any mistakes.

I have been running games with my daughters as AR’s. (Yes, it’s awesome.)

It would be great if I could add their email address to the “match officials” section, and it would automatically email them and ask them to accept the match.

As others have said, it would be great if this could get tracked as a single match, and data entered by one referee would be available to all (after the game.)
