Red cards need a written incident report via Whole Game. On straight red would be useful to access voice to text or voice note of incident while it’s fresh in mind for later recall.
When doing subs/yellows might be quicker to speak player number, yellow card type etc. Ref could be offered option to tap or speak.
Background noise may cause issues, plus players listening while you talk to your watch could spark arguments with players who saw it differently to you. Could be asking for trouble with this feature.
Hi, I don’t really agree. As it stands, you can’t dispense with pen and paper because a good ref should note down straight red incidents especially in games with multiple cards or a mass con. If ref six added a general ‘add voice note’ icon from a side /down swipe, the audio could be added at any time and for any reason eg on a red card, next break in play away from earshot. Also, you should explain to the player the reasons anyway and the voice note should reflect that so player disagreement is easily avoidable. Also, voice control for subs, adding yellow cards etc would be useful and different to voice notes. I use Galaxy watch and In game, the keypad and selection icons suddenly feel half the size.
