In my local FA (Football Victoria in Australia, otherwise known as FV, or previously FFV) we have many different roles. At lower levels, only have 3 types of officials that can be allocated to match: [REF] Referee, [RM] Referee Mentor and [FVS] FV Staff (we only allocate official assistants during finals, otherwise we use volenteers from each club). At the next level, we have [REF] Referee, [AR1] Assistant Referee 1, [AR2] Assistant Referee 2, [RM] Referee Mentor, [FVS] FV Staff. Next, we get: [REF] Referee, [AR1] Assistant Referee 1, [AR2] Assistant Referee 2, [RC] Referee Coach (somewhat different to mentor), [VC] Video Coach, [FVS] FV Staff. We also have other roles in other age groups and leagues, but it would be really cool if we could add these roles to our templates and individual matches themselves, as well as assign which assistant is AR1 or AR2, but leave them as just Assistants if we need.
